The 4th Annual Riverside Music Fest
Riverside Music Fest, formerly Riverside Riverfest, is an annual music festival held in September at beautiful E.H. Young Riverfront Park, along the Missouri Riverfront. This year features three bands, including headliner Little River Band. We’ll have a fantastic fireworks show to top it all off. So come out and enjoy great food from local food trucks, a beer garden, arts & crafts booths, and plenty of family fun including an inflatable play land, obstacle course, a slide and more.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $25 for the area closer to the stage. Kids 12 & Under get in free. There aren’t any seats so feel free to bring your own chairs or picnic blanket.
5:00 – SWITCH
The Kansas City based band Switch has been performing in the Midwest since 2006. The band stands behind the belief that most people like many kinds of music, not just one. Thus, no one leaves a Switch show without hearing a song they like or recognize.
6:30 – COUNTY ROAD 5
The first album titled “Drink about it” was released in the fall of 2007. This album contains “Drink I couldn’t handle”, and “Drink about it”, “Gone Fishin'” among several other songs that have been featured frequently on many occasions via radio, internet, and television.
8:00 – LITTLE RIVER BAND
Little River Band was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975. It was originally a blend of musicians who had enjoyed success in other Australian rock acts. Their new focus was to get airplay on American radio, and they achieved that goal with good songwriting, powerful vocals, and guitar harmonies.
